Under Christ, the Head of the Church, the New Testament recognizes one main leadership office in the local church. Several complementary titles identify this office: elder, overseer, and pastor (Acts 20:17, 28; Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9; 1 Peter 5:1-2).

Lead Elder/Senior Pastor

Ken Casillas serves as our lead elder/senior pastor. He grew up as a “missionary kid” in Puerto Rico. He came to Christ as a boy and later sensed God’s calling to a ministry of the Word. Pastor Ken holds a Ph.D. in Old Testament Interpretation and teaches on the faculty of Bob Jones University Seminary. He and his wife Soraya have five children. Pastor Ken is committed to expository preaching that is rooted in the redemptive storyline of Scripture.
